連載はムック本「ＳＥＥＤ＆ＡＳＴＲＡＹモデリングマニュアル」に再収録されている。

序章
C.E.71年，資源衛星へリ才ポリス，受到ZAFT軍的攻擊。在這件事中，地球連合軍的新型MS的事實被公開，5部MS，1部被地球連合軍順利回收，另外4台被ZAFT奪去。同一個時間，在被公開的事件背後有著令人驚訝的事。實際上へリ才ポリス還開發了其他3台MS，代號為「ASTRAY」的機體へリ才ポリス的本國奧布，為了開發本國防禦用的MS，盜用了地球連合軍的最新技術 ;的地球連合軍的新型MS被ZAFT搶奪時，為了保守秘密，へリ才ポリス將這3台機廢棄。但是，へリ才ポリス崩壞時，「ASTRAY」還沒被破壞，留在現場。へリ才ポリス崩壞後，命運指導兩個人來到へリ才ポリス，回收屋的羅發現了「ASTRAY」，並得到了紅色的RED FRAME；而他將藍色的BLUE FRAME，交給了傭兵團的劾。剩下的GOLD FRAME，只發現一隻手，本體下落不明……後來兩人經常相遇，還一起並肩作戰，在SEED的世界裡掀起另一番的故事…….[/quote]
